Suellen is running late for work but still makes a stop to light a candle for her son. It becomes clear why she lights this candle when Suellen watches videos of her son lip-syncing while wearing pink, glittery clothes. While Suellen saves up to send her son to a conversion camp, she goes to great lengths to gather the money. Director Carolina Markowicz presents a cinematic study of intolerance and hypocrisy.
